Which software is LePédalier 27 compatible with?
LePédalier 27 works with any software that accepts MIDI input. It is especially suited for virtual organ software such as Hauptwerk, GrandOrgue, Sweelinq and of course Organova Virtual Organ, but it can also be used with other MIDI-compatible music applications (Logic Pro, Garage Band, ProTools, etc...).
Why 27 notes?
27 notes is a practical organ pedalboard format that covers the essential pedal range needed for a large part of the organ repertoire, especially Baroque music, while keeping the instrument compact enough for home practice, transport and small spaces.
Is LePédalier 27 the same as a guitar MIDI pedalboard?
No. Guitar MIDI pedalboards usually trigger presets, effects or loops with a small number of footswitches. LePédalier 27 is a real MIDI organ pedalboard, with 27 playable pedal keys designed for organ technique and bass pedal parts.
